A 9800DWT CPP Oil Tanker namely MT Nautica Batu Pahat was launched on 1st December 2009 by Yg. Bhg. Puan Sri Datin Noorzilah Muhammad Ali, wife of Chairman of E.A. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd, accompanied by Yg. Bhg. Datin Hamidah Omar, wife of Managing director of EA. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd.
MT Nautica Batu Pahat is the 13th vessel in the company’s fleet and was built with oil major’s specifications that suitable to transport clean oil products having flashing point at or below 60°C, including marine diesel oil, marine gas oil and jet fuel oil.
The tanker was built to navigate in the Unrestricted Ocean-Going service. She can cruise at the top speed of 12.20 knots at the design draft of 7.50 meter with smooth hull, in deep water, at CSR of main engine (90% MCR at 2979kw)
The vessel will be trading within the Asia-Australia Region. |

Product Tanker, with estimated cost
of RM202 million.
E.A. Technique (M)
Sdn Bhd has secured from an oil
major, to supply three (3) oil
tankers on long term Time Charter
Party Contracts for a period of 10
years with an option for another 3
years. The first 10 years contracts
have a combined value of RM 418.0
million.
E.A. Technique (M)
Sdn Bhd also been awarded a seven
(7) year’s contract with another
three (3) years option to provide
two (2) Mooring Boats including
mooring crews for an oil terminal in
Melaka. The contract value for the 7
years period is RM 11.7 million.
The first tanker to
the oil major is expected to be
delivered in February 2010 and the
other two vessels in March 2010,
while the two Mooring Boats, costing
RM 2.0 million, are expected to be
delivered as per contract September
2009.

The brief handover ceremony was carried out at the NGV Tech’s shipyard. The fast crewboat with the overall length of 34 meter is equipped with the latest state of the art equipments meeting the HSC Code and High Speed Rules of the Classification Society Bureau Veritas.. The vessel is powered by three Cummins’ engines of 1800HP each. Built to carry 70 passengers, she can cruise at the top speed of 26 knots. The vessel is contracted to ferry offshore personnel between rigs at South China Sea for an oil major. |

E.A.Technique (M) Sdn Bhd is the eight company acquired by Sindora Bhd under it 'Intrapreneur Venture' programme. The move to sell the shares to Sindora will help E.A. Technique to move to a higher level in the shipping industry and become an established international player. |

E.A. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd's family day was held at Awana Hotel, Genting Highland on the 12 th – 13 th May 2006.
The family day started with the treasure hunt, followed by family games in the afternoon and at night a dinner was held at the hotel's ballroom. There was a karaoke competition and the winner was En. Mahdir Bin Majid singing the favourite local song Pada Syurga Di Wajahmu.
In connection with the family day, all ship crews were not forgotten and their food rations were doubled on that special day.

The keel laying ceremony of the newbuilding Hull No:SS/OT/0601 was carried out at the Sumber Samudra Shipyard on the 10th April 2006. This new double hull clean product tanker will be constructed under the latest rules of Bureau Veritas and will be able to carry about 6000 cu.metres (CBM) of clean cargoes. The vessel is designed by Conan Woo & Associates. Her hull form was tank tested at the laboratory in Universiti Teknolgi Malaysia and at fully laden, the vessel speed can achieved 13 knots. She is expected to be delivered to E.A. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd in June 2007. |
